Frequently Asked Questions
Why don’t you put pricing information on the page?
Businesses that don’t have pricing on their web pages are frustrating, we get it. We feel the same way! While we wish we could provide a simple pricing guide to help you out, but unfortunately it isn’t feasible. Embroidery is generally priced by stitch count, engraving by how long the piece will be on the engraver, and DTF by the color and design. Then we have the artwork to consider and the time it takes to create or convert the file you send to us into the right kind of file we need to run it on our machines. Also, we love to give great prices where we can. Group orders and orders with higher volume can help us do that!
Why do group orders help you lower the price?
First off, it takes us less time to complete longer runs because we don’t have to upload multiple files, change threads, etc.; we can just load a new product and press go on the machine. Secondly, the more pieces in the order, the less cost per piece for the file creation/conversion. Kind of like when you order Uber Eats—the more in your group, the less each person has to pay for the delivery fee! And finally, sometimes we get discounts from our suppliers for ordering larger volumes of an item. Discounts that we want to pass to you!
How fast will I get my order?
Here’s another question we wish we had a cookie cut answer for, but we don’t. It depends on our current workload with other orders, if you have sent us artwork or if we need to design it for you, the size of your order, etc.. We generally try to keep larger orders between 2-3 weeks, but smaller orders are usually completed before then.
Can you personalize something that I already have?
Perfect question. We are happy to take an item you already like and make it into something you love! However, while our machines can personalize a wide variety of materials of many sizes, they do have their limitations. Get in contact with us and we will find out if we can help you out!
Do you have a store I can go to?
We are currently working on creating an online store linked to our website. We do have an Etsy page set up with some of our popular products. That can be accessed here. We do not have a store frone, as we are a small family business and are lucky enough to have the ability to create your items from the comfort of our own home!
How do I get my order?
We can deliver orders free of charge or arrange local pickup at a public space within a 10 mile radius of Eastford, CT. We also offer shipping (fees vary).
What is DTF? How is it different from screen printing?
DTF stands for Direct To Film. The artwork you send us is sent to a machine that uses special ink, film, and powder to create a transfer that we can apply to the garment using a heat press. Screen printing is a longer process that involves burning an image into a screen and then pressing the ink through the screen onto a garment and then curing it through a conveyor dryer.
There are definitely pros and cons to each method, and if you are looking into this, we will be happy to discuss with you. If DTF is not the best option for your order, we will be transparent and tell you.
